NEW:  Immediate Relief Small Business Grants

On April 9, 2020, the Yamhill County Board of Commissioners approved $250,000 in emergency grants for local small businesses and organizations that have been impacted by COVID-19.

The one-time $2,500 cash grants are designed to help local, small businesses and organizations overcome some of the immediate impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak. Funds will be allocated and distributed throughout Yamhill County based on population, and recipients will be chosen at random until all 100 grants have been awarded. If your business or organization is selected, you can expect to receive funds by May 14, 2020.

Eligible businesses and organizations must meet the following requirements:

• Impacted by mandatory change-in-service or closure order and has experienced significant financial impact
• Operational for more than 12 months, and have 15 or fewer full-time employees
• Business or organization has not received a city or county grant in the past 12 months
• Business is not a national chain or franchise
